Compositions

Sentinels drafted a hard-engage, skirmish-focused composition built to force fights before Dignitas can control objectives with range. Impact’s K'Sante, HamBak’s Naafiri, DARKWINGS’ Sylas, huhi’s Nautilus, and Rahel’s Ezreal give Sentinels several ways to start a fight, find a flank, or punish an isolated target.

The central question for Sentinels is access. Nautilus and K'Sante can begin an engage from the front, while Naafiri can dive through a gap after Dignitas spend key cooldowns. Sylas is especially valuable because Dignitas provide multiple impactful ultimates to steal: Jarvan IV’s Cataclysm can lock down carries, Orianna’s Shockwave can create an unexpected engage angle, and Karma’s Mantra can add utility in extended fights. Ezreal supplies safe poke and follow-up damage, allowing Sentinels to contest space without committing every cooldown immediately.

Dignitas answered with a classic siege and front-to-back poke composition. Denathor’s Jayce, FBI’s Caitlyn, Palafox’s Orianna, and IgNar’s Karma can repeatedly soften Sentinels before an objective fight begins. eXyu’s Jarvan IV is the primary engage and peel tool, capable of trapping a diver or creating the setup for Orianna’s Shockwave.

Dignitas want controlled terrain. If they establish vision around dragons, Baron, or towers, Caitlyn traps and Jayce poke make every entrance dangerous. Their composition is strongest when Sentinels are forced to walk into them rather than approaching through flanks.

Key Picks

Sylas is the most volatile pick in the game. DARKWINGS has meaningful ultimate options from every major Dignitas champion, and a stolen Shockwave could instantly reverse Dignitas’ intended teamfight structure. Sylas also thrives in messy mid-game skirmishes, where Jarvan IV’s engage can create close-range targets.

Naafiri is Sentinels’ commitment tool. HamBak must identify whether Jarvan IV has used Cataclysm or whether Karma’s shields and movement speed can deny the initial dive. Naafiri cannot afford to be the first champion caught by Caitlyn traps and Orianna control, but she can snowball fights once Nautilus finds an opening.

For Dignitas, Caitlyn-Karma is the lane and siege engine. FBI should have room to pressure Ezreal in lane, while IgNar can enable traps, protect against dives, and accelerate rotations. Jayce adds another long-range threat, making Dignitas exceptionally dangerous around a prepared objective.

Draft Edge

Dignitas hold the cleaner execution draft. Their win condition is obvious: secure vision, poke Sentinels down, use Caitlyn traps to block choke points, and let Orianna and Jarvan IV punish a desperate engage. Jayce and Caitlyn also give Dignitas strong early tower pressure.

However, Sentinels have the more threatening counterplay. Their composition has multiple engage layers and better access to flanks, while Sylas can turn Dignitas’ own engage tools against them. K'Sante is also a major complication for Dignitas because Impact can isolate a carry or disrupt the formation that their poke composition requires.

The draft edge depends heavily on map state. In open terrain and unprepared fights, Sentinels can overwhelm Dignitas. In a vision-controlled river setup, Dignitas should dictate the pace.

Prediction

Dignitas should begin with priority through their Caitlyn-Karma and Jayce poke pressure, but Sentinels have the stronger tools to punish overextension in the mid game. If HamBak and huhi coordinate engage timing while DARKWINGS finds a high-value stolen ultimate, Dignitas’ backline can collapse quickly.

Prediction: Sentinels have the higher upset potential, but Dignitas are favored if they maintain objective vision and prevent flank access.
