Compositions

GAM Esports built a proactive, pick-focused composition around Pantheon, Taliyah and Camille. Draktharr’s Pantheon gives GAM immediate gank pressure, while Gloryy’s Taliyah can cut off escape routes with Worked Ground and Weaver’s Wall. Taki’s Camille support completes the engage package: once GAM finds a target, Artemis on Kaisa has the range and mobility to follow through.

Kiaya’s Gnar is the stabilizing piece. In Mini Gnar, he can pressure side lanes and create poke opportunities before objectives; in Mega Gnar, GAM gain a second major engage threat. This draft wants to establish vision first, force DetonatioN FocusMe into narrow corridors, then chain crowd control onto a vulnerable carry.

DetonatioN FocusMe answered with a more scaling-oriented teamfight setup. Citrus on Nocturne offers reliable backline access, supported by Woody’s Rell engage and Fisher’s Aurora zone control. Momo’s Yorick creates a meaningful split-push condition, demanding that GAM respect side-lane pressure rather than grouping freely around every objective.

Kakkun’s Corki is the central damage source. If DetonatioN FocusMe can buy time for Corki items and protect him through the first engage, their front-to-back damage profile becomes extremely difficult for GAM to navigate.

Key Picks

Taki’s Camille support is the most volatile pick on the Rift. Camille can punish Corki or Aurora when they misstep, and Hextech Ultimatum creates an excellent delivery tool for Pantheon and Kaisa. However, she is less forgiving than conventional tank supports. If she falls behind or misses her engage timing, GAM may lack a dependable frontline against Rell and Nocturne.

Fisher’s Aurora is equally important for DetonatioN FocusMe. Aurora can disrupt GAM’s dive with her ultimate, isolating carries or trapping the compact GAM formation after Pantheon commits. Her ability to reposition also makes her harder for Camille to lock down than a standard immobile mage.

The Yorick pick deserves attention. Momo can force Kiaya to answer a split-push, which may reduce Gnar’s availability for GAM’s preferred objective fights. Yet Yorick is vulnerable before he establishes lane control, and Pantheon has clear opportunities to gank top early.

Draft Edge

GAM hold the clearer early-game draft edge. Their mid-jungle duo can move first, Pantheon can influence every lane, and Camille gives them powerful pick conversion. Their composition is especially dangerous if they secure an early gold lead and snowball through repeated dives.

DetonatioN FocusMe have the stronger fallback plan. Nocturne, Rell, Aurora and Corki provide layered teamfight tools, while Yorick gives them an independent win condition. Their draft is less dependent on clean early execution, but it needs disciplined vision control to avoid being picked apart.

The matchup hinges on whether GAM can make the map chaotic before Corki reaches his most impactful items. If the game slows down, DetonatioN FocusMe’s scaling and engage combination should become increasingly valuable.

Prediction

GAM Esports should have the initiative in Game 3, particularly through early jungle activity around top and mid. Expect Draktharr and Taki to look for aggressive roam timings, with Artemis ready to carry skirmishes once Kaisa can join safely.

Still, DetonatioN FocusMe have several answers to a reckless dive. If Woody lands a clean Rell engage or Citrus finds Kaisa after her mobility tools are used, the fight can turn instantly. The draft favors GAM Esports in a fast, controlled game, but DetonatioN FocusMe in a longer, front-to-back battle. GAM’s execution ceiling gives them a narrow advantage.
