Compositions

Sentinels built a composition that wants to create order from side-lane pressure. Impact’s Yorick is the central strategic piece: once he reaches his item thresholds, he can force Karmine Corp to answer a side lane and open room for Sentinels to control the map elsewhere. DARKWINGS on Anivia reinforces that identity with exceptional waveclear, choke-point control, and a defensive wall that can deny direct access to objectives.

The rest of Sentinels’ draft gives the team strong catch potential. HamBak’s Jarvan IV can start fights decisively with Cataclysm, while huhi’s Blitzcrank creates immediate punishment whenever KC mispositions around vision. Rahel’s Jhin is not the primary carry in an extended front-to-back fight, but Curtain Call and follow-up crowd control make every Jarvan engage or Blitzcrank hook far more dangerous.

Karmine Corp drafted a much sharper, faster composition. Canna’s Jayce supplies early poke and lane priority, while kyeahoo’s Cassiopeia can punish champions trapped inside Jarvan IV’s arena. Yike’s Xin Zhao is the reliable engage and skirmish engine, able to protect his carries with Crescent Guard while threatening isolated targets.

The lower half of KC’s draft is built around volatility. Caliste’s Kai'Sa can follow Pyke or Xin Zhao into back-line dives, and Busio’s Pyke gives the team roam pressure, pick threat, and reset potential. KC want broken fights rather than controlled setups.

Key Picks

Yorick is Sentinels’ highest-value pick. Jayce can pressure him early, but Yorick’s value rises dramatically if Impact avoids falling behind and gets access to towers. KC have limited comfortable answers to a later split-push: Cassiopeia wants to fight in grouped terrain, Kai'Sa prefers access angles, and Pyke struggles to influence a protected side-lane matchup.

Anivia is equally important for Sentinels’ defensive structure. Her wall can split KC’s engage, interrupt Kai'Sa’s entry routes, and make Pyke hooks far harder to convert. If DARKWINGS controls mid waves, Sentinels can slow the game toward the scaling state their composition prefers.

For KC, Pyke is the draft’s swing pick. Busio must create tempo through roams, deep vision, and picks before Yorick becomes a persistent map problem. A quiet Pyke game leaves KC relying on Jayce poke and difficult front-to-back execution into Anivia.

Draft Edge

Sentinels have the more coherent scaling plan and stronger objective control. Anivia and Yorick make it difficult for KC to force clean sieges, while Jarvan IV, Blitzcrank, and Jhin can punish every rushed approach. Their draft is especially strong when fights happen around narrow jungle entrances.

KC hold the early-game edge through Jayce lane pressure, Pyke roam potential, and Xin Zhao’s skirmishing. Their best route is to snowball before Sentinels can establish vision lines and side-lane assignments. Cassiopeia also provides a meaningful answer to Jarvan IV engage if she is positioned correctly.

Prediction

The draft favors Sentinels if the game reaches a stable mid game. Yorick’s split-push will force KC into uncomfortable map decisions, while Anivia can keep Sentinels safe around major objectives.

However, KC have enough proactive tools to overturn that advantage. If Busio and Yike repeatedly find Rahel or DARKWINGS before objective setups, Kai'Sa can become the decisive carry. The likely outcome is a close early game followed by Sentinels gaining control through Impact’s Yorick pressure and Anivia’s defensive scaling.
