Compositions

JD Gaming drafted a front-to-back teamfight composition built around Sivir’s late-game damage and Jarvan IV’s reliable engage. Xiaoxu’s Ambessa gives JDG a threatening side-lane option, but her more important role is reaching the back line after JunJia starts a fight. Camille support adds another point of initiation and pick threat, allowing Vampire to create angles from fog of war rather than simply protecting GALA.

The unusual element is HongQ’s Locke, which makes JDG’s mid-jungle interactions difficult to map without more champion-specific context. Still, the broader draft identity is clear: JDG wants organized objective setups, layered engage, and enough space for Sivir to hit multiple targets. If JDG reaches grouped fights with even gold, their composition should become increasingly hard for ThunderTalk Gaming to approach.

ThunderTalk Gaming selected a more volatile early-game snowball composition. Ahn’s Draven is the central win condition: TTG need to create early kills, cash in Adoration stacks, and turn that gold into a lead before Sivir’s scaling takes over. Junhao’s Pantheon provides global pressure and straightforward point-and-click crowd control, while Feather’s Nautilus can lock down a target for Draven and Orianna to finish.

Keshi’s Rumble gives TTG powerful objective-zone control through Equalizer, and Heru’s Orianna offers follow-up damage when Pantheon or Nautilus finds an engage. TTG can win conventional teamfights, but their draft is strongest when they dictate the first move and force JDG into narrow corridors.

Key Picks

GALA’s Sivir is JDG’s insurance policy. Her waveclear can reduce the value of Draven’s lane pressure after the first few levels, while On The Hunt helps JDG either disengage from Pantheon’s picks or accelerate their own engage. Sivir also has a cleaner late-game damage profile than Draven if fights become extended and front-to-back.

Ahn’s Draven is therefore the game’s most important pressure point. A successful early gank, a winning 2v2, or a cash-in from an early skirmish could completely change the game state. TTG cannot treat Draven as a passive scaling carry; they must actively build plays around him.

JunJia’s Jarvan IV is the draft’s clearest connector. Cataclysm can trap Draven before he resets a fight, isolate Orianna, or create a perfect delivery zone for JDG’s follow-up damage. However, Jarvan must respect Pantheon’s counter-gank timing and Nautilus crowd control. A failed early engage could give TTG exactly the chaos their draft wants.

Draft Edge

JDG hold the more stable draft edge because their composition has multiple ways to function after lane phase. Sivir scaling, Jarvan IV engage, Camille pick potential, and Ambessa flank access all remain relevant even if JDG fall slightly behind early.

TTG have the sharper first-15-minute tools, especially around bot lane and early dragon fights. Yet their execution window is narrower. If Draven does not secure a meaningful cash-in, JDG’s superior waveclear and more dependable teamfight structure should steadily erase TTG’s advantages.

Prediction

ThunderTalk Gaming should generate early pressure through Pantheon and Nautilus roams, with Rumble making the first major objective contests dangerous. But JD Gaming have the better answers once GALA reaches items and their engage tools can be layered.

Prediction: JD Gaming win Game 1, likely after surviving TTG’s early Draven-focused aggression and taking control through mid-game objective fights.
