Compositions

EDward Gaming built a composition that wants to start fights on its own terms. Xiaohao’s Vi is the central engage tool, offering a reliable way to lock down a priority target and force Bilibili Gaming to react. Parukia’s Alistar strengthens that identity: he can follow Vi into the backline, peel for Leave’s Mel, or create a second engage angle after BLG have used their defensive cooldowns.

The solo lanes give EDG a practical mix of pressure and durability. Zdz’s Olaf can run through crowd control once Ragnarok is available, making him a dangerous front-to-back threat against Xerath and Seraphine. BuLLDoG’s Locke provides another source of damage and control in fights where Vi has already created access. Mel rounds out the draft as the primary sustained damage option, but Leave will need positioning discipline because BLG have several ways to punish an exposed carry.

Bilibili Gaming drafted a more flexible, scaling-oriented composition. Xun’s Trundle is powerful into a frontline built around Alistar and Olaf, especially if he can use Subjugate on the first champion EDG commit. Knight’s Akali is the primary flanking and assassination threat, while Viper’s Xerath gives BLG long-range poke before fights begin. ON’s Seraphine ties the draft together with sustain, shielding, wave control, and a potentially game-changing engage ultimate.

Key Picks

Vi is EDG’s most important pick. BLG’s backline is dangerous but not naturally safe once Vi reaches it. Xerath has limited mobility, and Seraphine is highly vulnerable if caught before she can position behind her frontline. Every successful Vi ultimate can give EDG a clean entry for Alistar and Olaf.

However, Trundle is an excellent answer to EDG’s intended engage pattern. If Vi and Alistar dive too deeply, Trundle can isolate them with Pillar and strip a key frontline target with Subjugate. That creates space for Akali to enter the fight later rather than exposing herself at the opening.

Viper’s Xerath is also a high-value comfort-style carry pick in this structure. BLG can poke EDG away from objectives and force Vi to engage from a predictable angle. If EDG arrive already damaged, Alistar and Olaf become much easier for BLG to kite.

Draft Edge

EDG have the clearer early and mid-game execution. Their engage is straightforward, their target access is reliable, and Olaf can become overwhelming if he snowballs through top-side fights. They should prioritize vision denial, decisive objective setups, and fast engages before Xerath can establish poke control.

BLG own the stronger reactive tools and the more threatening late-game spacing. Seraphine can neutralize initial pressure, Trundle can dismantle the frontline, and Akali can punish the moment EDG overcommit. The draft edge therefore depends on game state: EDG are favored when they dictate tempo; BLG are favored when they slow the map down.

Prediction

The draft is close, but Bilibili Gaming have slightly more answers if the game becomes controlled and objective-focused. EDG can absolutely win through Vi-led picks and Olaf pressure, yet they must execute quickly and avoid layered counter-engage.

Prediction: Bilibili Gaming win if they survive EDG’s first major engage windows and let Xerath, Akali, and Seraphine control late-game fights.
